Last night, Doc and I stood out back enjoying the breeze and the low humidity while watching the storm clouds off to the east of us. Lightning was visible in the clouds, which is always interesting to watch. The clouds were moving quickly to the north and constantly changing. The sun setting behind us gave the clouds their pretty colors.
Warning: Lots of pictures.
The sprinklers are on the golf course fairway behind our house.
As we watched the clouds move and change, we noticed the little “caps” that began to appear on the upper peaks.
Oh…caught a plane in this one.
The sun was just about to set.
We didn’t get any rain out of these storms. They continued on their north-easterly march away from us.

What was going on with the top of that cloud? Don’t think I’ve ever seen that sort of formation before! You got some amazing photos.
Gorgeous! I am with you and taking pictures of clouds. Just can’t stop!
The little flat wisp cloud on top of the big cloud?
I have no idea about that little wisp on top of these clouds! I really should research them a bit, but I just haven’t taken the time!
HI Vickie. .
I always love cloud pictures too. I smiled as you said on Jill’s post how you had found her. ..Doesnt’ that seem very long ago?
Lovella, it seems ages ago…and then again, it doesn’t seem so long ago. I’m just thankful for the wonderful blogs that I’ve found along the way and for the equally wonderful bloggers I’ve connected with.
