It’s only money

Well, the paperwork was signed on Friday morning.  After we left the title agency – newly homeless! – we stopped for a little lunch and then headed back to Tampa Bay.  Before we even arrived home, the title agent called and said the wire-transfer [of the funds of our sale] was complete and already banked!  That was fast.

The main concern stress-factor I’ve had for the past year or more has been with trying to sell the house and dealing with the resulting double-payments (rent and mortgage, two electric bills, two water bills, a lawn guy and pool guy to care for the house, keeping up with all the maintenance and upkeep and cleaning in two locations, etc.).  Now that it’s behind us, you would think I’d sit back and wait for Laura and William’s call to hurry to Kentucky [for the birth of our grandson].

No, not me.  As if that wasn’t enough, I’m taking on another project. I’m headed out today to buy something big.  Really, really big.

Oh, and by the way…

Happy 25th Birthday, Ryan!

We love you!!
