My apartment complex has tennis courts, exercise equipment, a swimming pool, basketball courts, a playground, and a sand volleyball court. From my apartment, I can sit in my favorite chair and watch a game of tennis or volleyball. In the three-plus months we’ve been in the apartment, I’ve seen maybe two volleyball games being played.
The nearest beach is about 8 miles away. When you’re very young, and can’t get to the beach on your own, you make the beach wherever you can.
I don’t know any of these young ladies, but I enjoyed watching them at play this morning.
